Martin’s Family Fruit Farm and Knight’s Appleden form Partnership
In August 2021, Martin’s Family Fruit Farm and Knight’s-Appleden Fruit Ltd. entered into a Sales and Marketing agreement. Martin’s, headquartered in Waterloo, ON are marking their 50th year of operation as a family business. Knight’s, located in Ontario’s Northumberland County, have operated as a family business for over 100 years.
Together, Martin’s and Knight’s have apple orchards in Northumberland, Elgin and Waterloo regions. Operating controlled atmosphere storage and two packing facilities, apples are stored, graded and packed under rigorous quality control standards.
Within the partnership, Martin’s has full responsibility for all Sales and Marketing activities across Martin’s and Knight’s portfolio of fresh apples. As a supplier to Canada’s leading food Retailers, Martin’s continues to make significant investments in enhancing industry-leading quality and in the development of consumer-preferred packaging formats.
